Ushering in 2014

Been awhile since my last post. Time, there's not enough of it and what there is, goes by like a damn heat seeking missile.

Well, 2013 is gone and it was a mixed bag of ups and downs, as most years are. On the upside, among other things, was Blood on Blood and Queen of Diamonds. The two books just kept chugging along and while you can never seem to sell enough, they still seem to have strong legs. The downs? I'll keep them to myself. For now.

More upside is that 2014 will bring the third book in the Zafiro/Wilsky series. It's appropriately titled Closing the Circle and here's a sneak peek at the cover. We love it and feel that Eric Beetner has once again worked his magic. More details to follow on the book launch and availability but we're very close. Frank and I are really excited about this book and we hope everyone will give it a try.

I'm also working on my first solo crime novel. No training wheels and no experienced co-pilot with me on this ride. I look to have it done and out on the market by mid-year.

I wish everyone a great and productive 2014. Happy New Year!
